My name is Abby Kosmenko and this is my blog.

I’m originally from Whitehorse, Yukon and I now live in Vancouver, BC.  I decided to start this blog to share my love of good food and to keep me accountable to myself in my goal to cook, eat and live a healthier lifestyle. I also wanted learn more about photography and get a chance to use my fancy new camera more often.

I try to focus on lighter alternatives to traditional recipes as well as new healthy recipes. But since I love to bake, there will be the occasional scrumptious treat that’s guaranteed to be sinful. We all need a little sugar based excitement in our lives.

    Hi Abby, just heard about your site from your Mum and its great! Your pictures of the puddings are really well done, they really look quite yummy and…..I HATE PUDDING,,all I can think of is slimey Tapiocca with raisins floating around,,Ugh,,and we kids were forced to eat it ( we couldn`t leave the table until it was gone)
    On a lighter note, do you remember in Waterloo when you weren`t feeling well I used to make you what we called `sickie eggs`and they always made you feel better.Gotta get back to reading your recipes, keep up the good work.
